These two go together

Download both Generating fal and Fal Setup. Run /fal-setup once first to get your Mac ready, then use /generating-fal to make images and video.

What it does

A one-time setup that prepares your computer to make images and video. It installs the tools it needs (no admin password, no Homebrew), signs you in, and points the cost at the Howatson team account. You run this once on a machine, then you never come back unless sign-in stops working. When it's done, Generating fal does all the actual generating.

When you'd reach for it

• You're about to generate images or video for the first time on this Mac
• Generating has stopped working and needs reconnecting
• A new starter needs their machine set up to generate

What you get back

• Your Mac ready to generate, with the cost going to the team
• A one-time job you don't have to think about again
