What it does

Opens a document, web page, or image in your browser so you can highlight sections and leave comments, the way you would mark up a PDF. It then reads those comments and applies the edits directly to the source file.

When you'd reach for it

• Feedback is easier to give by annotating the work than by writing a list
• A draft needs a round of revisions marked directly on it
• You've annotated a file and want the changes made
